The Event

Round up your mates and bring a team to Unity Sports Leagues' summer 7-a-side football tournament at the University of Northampton. It's fast, friendly and competitive — proper knockout football with a real trophy on the line, played in a welcoming, all-abilities atmosphere.

Whether you're a regular five-a-side crew, a work team, or a group of friends who fancy a kickabout with stakes, this is your shot. Enter as a team of up to 10, play multiple games on the day, and stick around for the awards.

How It Works

• Format: 7-a-side, squads of up to 10 players.
• Structure: group stage into knockouts — up to 8 teams, two groups of four at full capacity.
• On the day: arrive 11:30, first whistle 12:00, finished by 2:00pm.
• Who: adults 18+, all abilities welcome — mixed teams encouraged.
• Entry: £42 per team, single event. One captain enters the whole squad.

What To Bring

A full squad, matching colours if you have them (bibs provided if not), shin pads, and astro/trainers suitable for a 3G surface. Water and a team name ready to go. We sort the pitch, referees, footballs and fixtures — you just turn up and play.
